YUME is proud to announce that we will be taking part in THE 5th ANNUAL BROOKLYN PEACE FAIR, which will be held at LIU's Brooklyn Campus on April 26th, 2008. Over 150 Orginizations and businesses will join YUME along with some great performances by some really dope YUME FAMILY.

Brooklyn For Peace, the non-profit that organizes this yearly event, has been working for peace and social justice in Brooklyn and beyond since 1984. The group formed under its original name, Brooklyn Parents for Peace, as a group of parents who were concerned about the growing militarism in our society and its effects on the future of their children. Today BFP has a network of thousands of Brooklyn residents, and seeks to educate our community about issues of peace and social justice.
