The VOLUME i TOUR kicked off last night and boy was it memorable. Opening the show was the first WE LOVE LIVE MUSIC SHOW powered by YUME Music. 11:11 and THE ARGYLE EFFECT came by and showed us exactly why WE LOVE LIVE MUSIC. Their bands warmed the stage up and gave us a mix of jazz and alternative rock, we look forward to seeing them again in the future very soon. This also marked the official launch of YUME Music. You'll hear more about YUME Music throughout the summer.

THE VOLUME i TOUR then blazed the stage, kicking off with performances from RAHSAAN (currently on THE ROCK THE BELLS TOUR) & F-MOS who will be doing a couple dates on the TOUR throughout its duration. But boy the main band, GOOD DAY GOOD NIGHT, lead by PRINT put on a show that was truly momentous. If you were not there you deffinitely missed a great show, but luckily show 2 will be this SATURDAY, JUNE 28TH, 2008 @ YUME. Peep the pics

So we barely speak about our ties into the high fashion world, or what's going on on runways across the globe, but believe it when we tell you, WE PAY ATTENTION! In turn we wanted to applaud MS. WESTWOOD for paying attention to the lack of masculinity in the menswear market and by shattering all skinny jean wearing men across the globe by putting a very regular joeish man on the runway in Milan.

This undoubtedly will have all men jumping off of their couches, especially now that the NBA season is over, putting their Corona's and Red Stripes down. And heading over to YUME for headshots. PRINT X GOOD DAY GOOD NIGHT, The YUME Music, endorsed band is launching their tour this Thursday. You'd be crazy not to attend from what I hear they have some crazy things in store for you on a tour that will span the rest of 2008, special guest appearances, dope themes, and a great performance show. We have a special place in out heart for good music, and really like what's coming out of ATL these days. Proton is a great group we bumped into during our time in Atlanta. They're slated to hit the stage for the AFRO-PUNK Festival this year. During their stay here we'll get a chance to check their live show, oh yeah they're going to be performing at YUME on July 6th. What a busy weekend we had, but it was all productive as can be. Gearing up for our sponsorship for the SUNDOME Basketball tournament in Park Slope, revamping the space, meeting with our favorite AROUND THE WAY GIRL, and a great photoshoot, makes YUME very tired. We were invited out to check out a game at the world famous RUCKER PARK, where we got to see Angie Martinez's team and Snoop Dog's team face off on the basketball court. Though we love Brooklyn we have a strong affinity for Harlem as well (LOOK OUT FOR YUME HARLEM coming soon). Big ups to DJ Enuff, Pop, and all the fam out on the court. We will be frequenting the games, as THE WORKSHOP may be shooting a photo documentary on the park this summer.

So we've been riding on blogspot for a minute and we really love it, it shows alot of our change and growth throughout the past year. And as we get closer to our 1 year anniversary (October 1, 2008), we will be making quite a few changes. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled as we have alot in the works, new names, new spaces, new places, and new people, all thanks to THE NEW REGIME. We want to thank you for your conitnued support and are really looking forward to our grand re-opening in September.

If you haven't noticed there are always these incredibly astute individuals who are either getting the party going or making rounds with an e-mail list. Those are the incredibly talented I-TEAM which hale from YUME. And we are recruiting for our new divisions set to open in FALL. If you're that good we'll start you right away. College credit is available.

In the meantime we'd like to introduce to you the new edition to the I-TEAM, Ms. Melissa Stoll. She is currently a sophomore at Buffalo State University, holding a 3.4 GPA, and her major is Fashion Design. She is currently a fashion design intern on the I-TEAM. Welcome aboard Melissa.
